Q: My son is 4 months and i want to start a diet for the new year....is the low carb dangerous to my baby if i do it while breastfeeding? or should i wait to start any diets?

A: You are better off doing almost any other kind of diet. Weight Watchers has a great plan for breastfeeding women.

Pregnant women should not diet. YOu may deprive your growing baby of necessary nutrients. Small reduction in certain element like Potassium, can cause severe brain damage. Tell your sister to eat well, once the baby is delivered she can go on any diet

Has anyone done the Nutrisystem Diet while breastfeeding?

I only lost approximately 8 lbs after childbirth (I was expecting to lose quite a bit more). I would like to start losing this additional weight right away, and was curious if anyone has done this diet while breastfeeding and if it caused any problems

Did anyone have to remove dairy from their diet while breastfeeding?
