Is it the same for third trimester? Is using retinol creams later on in the pregnancy bad? I used some for about a month because the vitamin store near my home said it would be ok and someone later told me it was bad so I tried

A: Yep I think its not recomended Any high Vitamin A products be use while pregnant. Though with the cremes the risk would be low according to what I read on the web!! I think it best to avoid it.But doubt you have done any damage there is a bit of a debate

I know the typicall alcohol, cigarettes, retinol.... is there anything else I should avoid ?????


You can have 1-2 cups of coffee a day. Any more than that is not usually recommended. Some fish is okay, but stay away from swordfish and those type fish as this contains higher levels of mercury. 1-2 cans of tuna a week is also okay, but is not advised

I used cod liver oil capsules and a multivitamin, which contained vitamin A before and during the first three months of pregnancy. My daughter was born with what looks like the top of her ear missing, it is more pointed and doesn't curl over at the top,


from what i have read, the vitamin A should not cause issues if you stay in the recommended daily range. What other factors are there to take into consideration? alcohol/tobacco use? genetics? It is possible that the ear is just genetic and not a defect.
