How much weight loss if I eat 500 calories a day and jog for an hour a day?

Q: I am 5ft6 and weight 60kg, and I want this to be a long term diet, so please don't say when you eat normally you'll gain it all back. Please be nice, and just give your estimations.

i eat 400-800 calories a day and cycle for around 90mins and walk about 90mins too, it loses around 3lb/4lb a week

I read on many weight loss sites that 3,500 calories = 1 pound of weight loss. I've started working out and have burned over 8000 calories more than I eat.. but haven't lost a pound...

Yes it is correct.
Some things to keep in mind:
1. Yes, muscle is denser than fat, so if you had no muscle before, you might not see much of a difference on the scale. Don't let this discourage you, because toned muscles take up less space

to loose 1 pound = you have to burn 3,500 calories

7 x 500 = 3,500 = 1 pound

so that's precisely 1 pound a week
