What's the best way to learn how to set up a password protected pay website?

Due to injuries I am no longer able to do my job. The job market pretty much sucks where I live and I don't want to move from my country life. I am a decent photographer and have some good equipment already but the website thing is all Greek to me.

Talk to the hosting sites. They have free number to call. Ask questions. Yahoo!Answers is not a good place to get answers in details that you need.
